WIC clinics are held on-site at the Anderson County (Garnett) office for Anderson County residents and at the Woodson County (Yates Center) office for Woodson County residents. Residents of Allen County & Bourbon County may call the Crawford County WIC office at #(620)231-5411 to make an appointment. WIC clinics for Allen County residents are held in Iola, & WIC clinics for Bourbon County residents are held in Ft. Scott.

WIC is a nutrition education & food supplement program funded by the Department of Agriculture through a grant from the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. This program is available for pregnant, breastfeeding, and recently delivered mothers, infants and children up to the 5 years of age. Eligibility is according to income & participants must be a resident of Kansas. Income guidelines are available at the Anderson County or Woodson County Health Departments. Allen County & Bourbon County residents may call the Crawford County WIC office at #(620)231-5411 to obtain a copy of the income guidelines.

The WIC program is open to eligible persons regardless of race, color, age, sex, national origin, or handicapping conditions. There are no fees for this program.
