We are proud to offer WIC services on-site at our Anderson County (Garnett) & Woodson County (Yates Center) offices. Residents of those counties may call the office directly to set up an appointment.

For Allen & Bourbon County residents, please call the Crawford County WIC office at #(620)231-5411 to make an appointment. WIC clinics are held in Iola for Allen County residents & Ft. Scott for Bourbon County residents.

WIC is a nutrition education & food supplement program funded by the Department of Agriculture through a grant from the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. This program is available for pregnant, breastfeeding, and recently delivered mothers, infants and children up to the 5 years of age. Eligibility is according to income & participants must be a resident of Kansas. Income guidelines are available at the Anderson County or Woodson County Health Departments. Allen County & Bourbon County residents may call the Crawford County WIC office at #(620)231-5411 to obtain a copy of the income guidelines.

 

The WIC program is open to eligible persons regardless of race, color, age, sex, national origin, or handicapping conditions. There are no fees for this program.
